In music we are doing a fun activity, we looked at some genres and how they work differently from the others. What do you notice about the rhythms? Our music teacher also show some songs with different background music and rhythm. Now we have to do this ourselves, we had to pick a genre out of a hat, and by surprise we got pop music. Pop music is a genre of music that makes the most hits. Usually this music is popular with younger people. This genre is originated from U.S.A and U.K. I am in a group with Myka, Trisha and Lauren. We collectively chose "Someone Like You" by Adele. I think this piece will be challenging because most of our group only can play piano. I think I want to try a new instrument. (maybe Ukulele?) We have not fully decided what everyone is going to do yet.
