This week in maths we did a number of new things.
For Monday we learnt about graphs. We had been given a horizontal and vertical graph and explain how the graph is used and read.
On Tuesday we played with blocks and cube in order to see a result if we were to dip a 3x3 cube into paint how many sides of each cube would be paints? How many wouldn't be?
Yesterday we had a new teacher who had been observing the day before. We learnt how much pixels we were able to find in a coloured shape. How could make the least amount of squares or rectangles out of the shape. We also learnt about how we could be optimal in maths. What different ways could we plan or solve this problem?
Today we had the student teacher, we carried on our lesson on optimisation in maths and how we could fix 6 circles into different shapes. I think using a cylinders is a great wqay to store disks.
